Who needs lessons anyway?
Isn’t it better to be self taught?

You can learn a lot on the internet including how to play songs, tune your guitar and even more advanced techniques like bending strings and soloing. However, there is no substitute for one-on-one personal guitar instruction in an environment where you can ask questions and your instructor can analyze areas of your playing that need improvement. I’m currently teaching guitar in Plano, TX to those who are seriously interested in learning to play.

The guitar is a beautiful instrument and so much fun to learn and play. I have dedicated many years to learning the instrument and along the way I’ve discovered many ideas and concepts that don’t work. Many students learn to play the guitar in a fundamentally incorrect manner, and they get frustrated along the way. I experienced the same hurdles as I was learning to play. After many years of learning and discerning what is right and what is wrong I have discovered certain truths about how to play guitar. These truths can help you learn the instrument in a faster, more enjoyable manner. If you are serious about learning how to play guitar I would love to hear from you.
