Cayenne Pepper Experiment

I have had headaches for years and I take about 4 Tylenol, 4 Ibuprofen, and 1 BC Powder every day to soothe the pain. I am currently trying to reduce the pain by using an old homeopathic remedy, Cayenne Pepper. It appears that the cayenne pepper blocks the pain when I put a little dab in 1 nostril. It takes about 30 minutes to feel the effects, but it has begun to reduce the amount of Tylenol that I take each day. This has been one of my goals since Tylenol is reportedly damaging to the liver.

Peppermint on the forehead, and drinking LOTS Of water is also a good help with pain. Plus the water is good for the liver and kidneys.

Troy, love your website. How is the Cayenne pepper experiment going. Have you tried cayenne pills?

Hi Bill. It’s good to hear from you! I tried the Cayenne for a while but then I went back to using Ibuprofen for headaches. The biggest issue I had with the Cayenne is that it really burns my nose. I haven’t tried the pills. Maybe I should give them a shot?

I was studying Curcumin a while back and oddly enough they had a story on the news last night where a doctor is using it to treat cancer. Apparently he is having good results.

Curcumin is basically one of the active components in turmeric powder which is used commonly in Indian and Asian cooking. Many believe that its’ anti inflammatory properties aid in improving health at the cellular level. It would be interesting to study a group of people that eat a lot of curcumin and see how their cancer rates compare to westerners.
